I’ve tried several brands including Fuji, Origin (overpriced blended synthetic materials), Break Point (low quality terrible oversized fit), Gracie (over priced branding for no extra quality).
To me, summo has created the perfect gi. This gi is the best fitting and most durable gi Ive ever worn.
And I love the fact that it comes perfectly clean with absolutely no patches or embroidery.
This gi jacket is very thin and lightweight.
I wash it on a hot, three stage cycle with pre-wash, main wash and extra rinse. Then I dry it on a high heat setting. Shrink is minimal. Don’t wash colored gis with white gis, even in cold water a white gi will tint after absorbing die colors from the water.
This gi exemplifies simplicity, and functionality and looks great with the subtle black thread!
And the price is amazing!

Shipping took quite a while. I ordered size A3H. The gi fit pretty well, but the pants were too long, so I'll have to get them altered. Np. The gi is light weight and very breathable. I feel very comfortable in it. I will order from Summo again.

I love that I can get good-looking, ibjjf approved, gi custom fit to my frame (6'8'' 230lbs) without all the crazy over-the-top patches and logos. If you are tall like me Summo Sport is one of the few options out there. I own two of their gi's and a rashguard and won't order from another company again.

I'm 5' 4" at a stocky 190 lbs. The A2H gi fits great! its lightweight but well made. You can tell the gi can take a good beating long before you'll need to buy a new one. Definitely recommend this quality affordable gi.

Overall I really like the gi. Very comfortable and seems durable enough. I'm in a strange size between A0 and A1. I got the A0 and it fits well except that the skirt of the kimono is a little short for my taste. Still gave the gi five stars because this is more of a preference. If I could change anything it would be that I wish I could order pants and kimono separately.
