I can’t begin to express how GRATEFUL I am to Summo sports for taking care of me on getting me a Gi that custom fits.
As a 7 feet man that weighs 265 pounds, the Gi I had before did not fit me or feel comfortable at all.
Summo was so helpful and supportive in continuing my journey in Jiu Jitsu. The communication was amazing and all the questions I had were answered with clear and easy instructions on getting my measurements to them.

I am really happy with this Gi. I bought two to rotate but they hang dry so quickly I have actually only worn one of them. I am 5’10” and 180lbs with an athletic build. The A2 jacket fits perfect. I had to take almost two inches off the length of the pants. The pants are too big in general. There is a lot of extra fabric. It doesn’t make it uncomfortable to roll in but they sure give my opponent a lot of material to grab. I would definitely recommend this as a simple, clean looking gi for new people looking for great value or for a durable lightweight gi to add to any rotation.
The custom fit was great! Had to do the A2L for my son who is 6'2" and it fits! We have tried several brands and none have been long enough in the legs. He wears a 34" in length and this fits perfect. He wore it for IBJJF and we didn't have any problems getting the GI inspected & approved.
High quality gi for a reasonable price. The ability to mix and match sizing for jacket and pants was helpful for those of us that are proportionally challenged.
Fit was perfect and it looks amazing on me. I was so excited when I opened it up and put it on and it fit, I haven't had luck with finding the right one, but this one is awesome.
This gi is truly exceptional and stands out as one of the finest in my collection. Its quality and durability are unmatched, and I am absolutely certain that I will repurchase it in the future.

The Gi is great. Lightweight and sturdy. The jacket could be a little longer in the body. It would also be great if customers could order jackets and pants separately to better fit different bodies.
Time from order to start of actual shipment was a bit long with little information. I would love if you moved away from Shop.com. It’s a clunky system from the customer side and gives me little confidence in the businesses who use it.

I'm really overweight but wanted to start to learn Jiu Jitsu. However, almost everywhere I tried to find a Gi, but nothing fit. I found Sumo Sports and their largest size fits and seems to be good quality. I'm excited to get into a class! Thanks, Sumo Sports!
So I ordered by size chart , the bottoms fit great but top is a bit small around the waist. In the up side it is fantastic all in all , so if ordering try a size bigger then listed.
Awesome gi. Thank you. The shipping process specifically the time it took to ship to my house was long enough to where i checked to see if my payment metgod went through. The product is amazing, i wear to training everyday. Do you guys sell belts?(white)
Nice weave, appears a bit higher quality than the average bjj gi. I've worn judo gis for bjj for years and they are definitely heavier but now that I'm coming back to bjj with a new hip after a multi year lapse ( due to needing a new hip ), I've been searching for a lighter gi to mitigate the heat that comes with a heavier gi.
The gi fits probably as it should but I lifted for years and am at 195 which is about 5 lbs heavy for an a2h...so hesitant to wash and not be able to return. I might just order the next size up and see how that works out with a presumed 10% shrinkage as per Summo's communication.
So I'm very likely to order the next size up and get it hemmed. Since orders over 10p or 125 ship free I might just order two. And I'll likely go with blue as it's traditional and hides stains and dirt a bit better.
Hope I didn't lab on but the process is involved, I'm picky, but know what I want and am on a mission to fund the perfect logo free gi for jitts.
The pants are different than what is shown in your photo… yes the description says rip stop but the photos if you look closely they are clearly Pearl weave… also the stitching is different on the pants in your photo, aligning more with the premium gis the ones that come with this order do not have the stitching running up along the side to the hip as it shows in your photos. Overall the fit is OK and I do like the kimono so I rated you 4 stars instead of 5 , or 3… or worse.
